In addition, the Department contributes to the broader musical life on campus through course offerings and abundant ensemble opportunities for majors and non-majors alike. Formal study of music at Notre Dame is complemented by the Department's extensive presentation of faculty and guest artist concerts, scholarly lectures, and student performances.

COVID-19 poses unique challenges for musicians worldwide. Please be assured that, in addition to adhering closely to all University-wide safety protocols, the Department of Music has taken extra measures to ensure that all music classes, lessons, rehearsals, and performances are conducted as safely as possible. However, the specific measures vary depending on the type of activity. Your teacher can give you information.

Please also note that to register for lessons this semester, you may simply email Kevin Wangler at kwangler@nd.edu. There is no need to come to the office to register.
